President Donald J. Trump’s attacks on people expressing their opposition to the way African-Americans are being treated in this nation requires one to pause and look at the bigger agenda that is at play here.

President Trump goes to Alabama and calls on the NFL owners to fire players who kneel as a form of peaceful protest, a right given to all Americans under the Bill of Rights and the U.S. Constitution. His vulgar and profane comments have sparked protest not only in the NFL, but the NBA and other professional sports. Some of the best-known sports figures in America have condemned his callous and racist remarks.

What is important is for people not to lose sight of a deliberate strategy of the “divide and conquer” efforts that are at play here. People reading this post should keep their eyes on the prize. President Trump’s efforts to keep changing the subject is his attempt to get the American people into silly debates to avoid his administration from being held accountable for numerous violations of the law.

Manipulation and political maneuvering are at play here. As long as he can get Americans to debate and fight among themselves, the longer he can hold on to power. In office for less than a year, he is one of the most unpopular presidents in modern history.

Let me assure you – I know how this presidency will end. President Trump will self-destruct. In the process, we must minimize the casualties.

A Luta Continua!
