Thanks to the The Baltimore Sun article from Feb 13 we now know that there are 5 high paid lobbying dinners this night in Annapolis for members of the general assembly (and dozens more throughout sessions in general).

We want our elected officials to know that we see them.

Our plan is to organize a group of concerned voters to hold signs that say “MD General Assembly: We See You” and stand out front on the sidewalk of these establishments as members arrive. The sidewalks are public property and our presence there is protected by 1st amendment.

Plan:
Meet at the Boat Yard Bar and Grill (400 4th St, Annapolis, MD 21403) to coordinate (and have food, drinks if anyone wants) then move to the first restaurant (Ruths Chris, literally 1 minute by foot) by 545p. Their event starts at 6p so we need to be there IN ADVANCE. We’ll station ourselves across from the entrance with the signs.
The next stop is 1 block away (Lewnes steakhouse), so we can just spread out along the sidewalk for that event that starts at 630p. Come at any time you are available between 5p-7p.

Afterwards, anyone who is interested can head for dinner ourselves (at a MUCH cheaper place).
