The Writing Intensive at St. John’s College

Created by Laura Oliver and Lynn Auld Schwartz, this content-packed event offers a day devoted to writing instruction, discovery, and inspiration. Five award-winning authors and a literary agent present workshops for memoir, fiction, flash fiction, nonfiction, and publishing advice. Attendees are able to select three workshops (from six choices) and the Keynote, “Behind the Scenes of Book Publishing.”
Located on the historic St. John’s College campus in Annapolis, the day also includes lunch, a question and answer forum, book swap, and a networking wine reception in the garden. This is a fun gathering where writers of all levels (and book lovers wanting to become more insightful readers) have the opportunity to meet and share the experience with kindred spirits.
